2020 Mumpreneur Awards

Emma Allen of Active Property Investing has been nominated for the 2020 AusMumpreneur Awards.
 
The AusMumpreneur Awards presented by The AusMumpreneur Network celebrate and recognize Australian Mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation. The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
 
Emma Allen founded Active Property Investing (API) in 2014 to change the way people experience a property company. API is the culmination of years in the property industry fused with performance coaching and a service centric philosophy.
 
“I’m very passionate about property and financial literacy so I’ve created a platform for busy people to understand property and make conscious decisions about their investing. We’ve helped hundreds of individuals and families who would’ve otherwise not had the chance.”
 
There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood as Emma Allen explains, “I love the freedom to put forward what I think is right and to hold the team to a standard that sets us apart from our competitors.”
 
It can be challenging to be a successful business woman whilst raising a family and Emma Allen gives this advice for others thinking about starting their own enterprise, “Save time for things that are important to you. Like family, friends, sleep, sport and sanity”.
